Elaine Ikat-Print Silk Pant

Inspired by our Daria pant, the wide-leg Elaine pant is crafted in the United States from silk shantung—a plain-weave silk woven with an ultrafine slub yarn, affording a rustic look and a soft hand. It's printed with one of the season’s signature patterns inspired by designs traditional to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and cultures throughout Asia. The interwoven global history of ikat techniques—from as early as the 10th century—holds cherished historical symbolism and varied origins across cultures in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
